ー あの奇跡の夜は序章だった。世界のミニマルアンダーグラウンドシーンのトップコンテンツ・RPR SOUNDSYSTEM (Rhadoo, Petre Inspirescu, Raresh / [a:rpia:r])が、今回オフィシャルVJのDREAMRECを伴った完全体での究極公演を実現！ LIQUIDROOMにて開催決定！！ ー

近年の世界のアンダーグラウンドミュージックを席巻するルーマニアン・シーンのボス、Rhadoo, Petre Inspirescu, Raresh。2015年4月4日に実現したその彼ら3人によるRPR SOUNDSYSTEMのLIQUIDROOM公演は、我が国のクラブシーンの歴史に偉大な足跡を残してくれた。お客さんの熱気、場内の雰囲気、彼らのパフォーマンスの内容、どれを取っても最高と言う言葉では言い尽くせぬ、それまで経験した事のないほどの夢のような素晴らしい一夜であり、その熱狂は日本のシーンに語り継がれる歴史の1ページとして今も記憶に新しい。

あの興奮から丸2年。彼らがあの同じ場所に帰って来る。更に今回は彼ら[a:rpia:r]のオフィシャルVJであるDreamrecの来日も決定し、彼らがついに完全体となる瞬間が訪れる。2016年2月にここLIQUIDROOMで行われた『Beat In Me feat. Rhadoo with Dreamrec VJ』で見せた彼のヴィジュアルパフォーマンスは、日本のシーンにおいてかつておよそ目にした事のない斬新なイメージでの露出で、そこに集ったクラバー達全員に強烈なインパクトを与え、2015のRPR3人による公演にひけを取らぬ最高のパーティーであったとの評価を各方面から獲得する事となった。

現在の世界のクラブミュージックシーンにおける紛れもないトップコンテンツであるRPR SOUNDSYSTEMに、このDreamrec VJのビジュアルを加えた今回のこのキャスティング。アンダーグラウンドミュージックシーンにおいてこれ以上の表現はない、最上級の音と映像の究極の形を今回初めて日本のファンに見せる貴重な機会となる。

– That miraculous evening was just a prelude… Standing at the top of the global minimal underground scene, RPR SOUNDSYSTEM (Rhadoo, Petre Inspirescu, Raresh / [a:rpia:r]), return to the LIQUIDROOM next Spring, bringing us their ultimate performance this time with the addition of their official VJ, DREAMREC!! –

Rhadoo, Petre Inspirescu, Raresh… three top bosses of the Romanian scene that has dominated the world’s underground music in recent years. Their appearance as RPR SOUNDSYSTEM at the LIQUIDROOM on April 4, 2015 left a huge footprint in the history of our club scene. The audience’s enthusiasm, the atmosphere in the venue, and artists’ performances all came together to create a dreamlike evening unlike anything ever experienced before. An experience that could only be described simply as amazing, and is still remembered as an important page in the history of the scene in Japan.

Two years on from that exciting moment, they will return to the same place.
Additionally, this time we are fortunate to have Dreamrec (official VJ for [a:rpia:r]) joining them for this very special moment when their team finally becomes complete. Dreamrec’s visual performance at “Beat In Me feat. Rhadoo with Dreamrec VJ” (held here in February 2016) brought something highly innovative and never before seen in Japan, and left a huge impression on all the clubbers in attendance that night, garnering high praise and accolades from many who rated the night as one of the best that was no less impressive than the 2015 performance by the 3 members of RPR.

The merging of Dreamrec VJ’s spectacular visuals with RPR SOUNDSYSTEM’s music, all undeniably the club music scene’s premier level artists… there is perhaps no higher expression currently in underground music. The night promises to be a valuable and rare opportunity for all Japanese fans who are ready to experience the ultimate collaboration of sound and visuals.

現行のシーンにおけるトップDJの一人であり同時に現在世界を席巻するルーマニアのシーンの事実上のボスであるRhadoo、卓越したプレイはもとよりその生み出される作品群が世界最高レベルのクオリティーの評価を獲得している唯一無二のアーティストPetre Inspirescu、14’まで所属したCOCOONなどでのワールドワイドな活躍により３人の中でも特にメジャーシーンにおいても抜群の名声を確立しているRareshの３人によるスペシャルユニット。このRPR SOUNDSYSTEM名義で出演するイベントは世界でも彼らにより選ばれたトップイベント・フェスのみで、年に数回しか実現する事はない。07’に設立したレーベル[a:rpia:r]は世界中のアンダーグラウンドシーンでカルト的な支持を集める。13′, 14’には、ミックスCDシリーズの世界のトップブランド『Fabric』に３人が立て続けに起用されるなど、不動の人気を誇るシーンのカリスマ的存在。近年においては年を追う毎にますますその人気と地位は高まり続けている。

Rhadoo, known to many as one of the top DJs of the new techno wave, is recognized as the king of the Romanian scene that is currently making an impact on the global dance music world. Petre Inspirescu, also well known for his outstanding skills as a DJ and producer, continues to receive international acclaim for the high quality of his productions. And Raresh has gained worldwide recognition, even within the major scene, as a former member of COCOON until 2014. Rhadoo, Petre Inspirescu, and Raresh… As a special unit called RPR SOUNDSYSTEM, these three join together on very rare occasions of their choosing and can be seen together only a select few times a year at top festivals and events globally.
In 2007, they founded [a:rpia:r], an electronic music label regarded by many as a clear leader in the world of underground music, and their releases have attained cult status. All three have compiled separate releases for the globally acclaimed mix CD series “Fabric” in 2013 and 2014. They continue to be blessed with ever-increasing attention and recognition around the globe.

Silviu Visan(Dreamrec VJ)は、ビデオ・マッピングからインタラクティブ・デザインまで、様々なプロジェクトを手がけるルーマニアのトップ・ビジュアル・アーティストだ。彼は過去数年間に渡り、[a:rpia:r]クルーのビジュアル面を担当しており、 世界のミニマルミュージックのNo.1フェスティバルである Sunwaves(ルーマニア) など多くの重要なフェスティバルに出演している。2013年後半には、ロンドン・ヴィクトリア&アルバート博物館に展示されているトラヤヌスの記念柱のレプリカを使用し、モーション・グラフィックスや3Dアニメーションを組み合わせ、壮観なプロジェクション・マッピングを行うなど、近年ますます世界の各アートの様々な分野で実績を積み上げている。

Silviu Visan (Dreamrec VJ) is a top-visual artist from Romania known for a wide variety of works, from video projection mapping to interactive design. Over the past few years he has been in charge of the visual aspects for the [a:rpia:r] crew and has performed at many world-class festivals including Sunwaves (Romania), the number one global festival for minimal music. In late 2013, using a replica of Trajan’s Column exhibited at London’s Victoria & Albert Museum, he combined motion graphics with 3D animation in a spectacular display of projection mapping. In more recent years, he continues to accumulate achievements and accolades in a broad variety of disciplines within the art and design world.

▽KABUTO (DAZE OF PHAZE / LAIR)
『FUTURE TERROR』から『CABARET』のレジデントDJを経て、現在は東高円寺GRASSROOTSで行われている自身のレギュラー・パーティー『LAIR』や来日アーティストのサポートなど、そのグルーヴと確かな手腕で、独自のテクノ～ハウスのシーンを自ら切り開くことで広いフィールドで活躍している。またStrictry VinylやToiToi Musikなど海外ポッドキャストへのミックス提供、盟友RYOSUKEとのスプリット・ミックスCD『Paste of Time』など過去数枚のミックスCDをリリース。そして2016年よりDAZE OF PHAZEをスタートさせた。

▽DJ PI-GE (TRESVIBES SOUNDSYSTEM / VIS REV SET)
新旧テクノ、ハウスを織り交ぜ、彼独特のグルーブを発信し続けるそのDJスタイルの始まりは90年代後半から地元大阪にてDJ・オーガナイザー活動をスタート。現在はロングランパーティーとなったTRESVIBESのオーガナイズ兼レジデントDJとして活躍中。これまでにRaum…Musik、Pan Records、Autoreply、Arpa recordsでEPをリリース。海外ツアーも積極的にこなしドイツPanorama BarやRobert Johnson、Watergate、フランスREX CLUBなど主要クラブでプレイ、そして2016年に初の南米ツアーを行った。また、TRESVIBESから派生したDJユニット「TRESVIBES SOUNDSYSTEM」としても活動し、今年2016年のフジロックフェスティバルのレッドマーキーステージに出演を果たした。2014年に自身のレーベル”Vis Rev Set”をローンチさせ、オフィシャルミックスCD「PLAYGROUND」をリリース、また2016年に同レーベルからヴァイナルオンリーで続々とリリースが予定されている。

▽Junki Inoue (Toi.Toi.Musik)
1989年東京生まれ。現在はロンドン在住。ミニマルテクノ・ディープハウスを中心に、透明感あるタイトなグルーヴにアシッディーな感覚を潜ませるような選曲を武器とする。日々新たなサウンドを掘り進め、DJへと昇華する姿勢はロンドンのUndersound、Art of Dark、ベルリンのSeekers、スイスのLes Pointsといったクルーと共鳴し、BinhやAndrew James Gustav、Z@pといった新鋭たちと共に注目される存在となっている。近年はウェアハウスパーティー/レコードレーベル Toi.Toi.MusikにレジデントDJとして参入。またToi.Toi.Booking Agencyの一員としても世界各国で活躍している。2016年は拠点ロンドンのほか、バルセロナで開催されたOff Sonar、ブラジル・アルゼンチン・ウルグアイを巡る南米ツアー、パリのConcreteにおけるクロージングセットなどを務めた。2017年は初となるUSAツアー、日本・韓国・中国を巡るアジアツアーに挑み、着実に表現の場を拡大している。
